Kyocera FS-2000 - Anyone got one?

I'm looking to replace some aging HP2200s, and came across these:

Note the part that says: "a cartridge sufficient for around 12,000, five per cent cover pages costs just under £60" and bear in mind what a 6000-page cartridge for a HP24** (which is what I'd normally replace them with) would cost.

 

We have a couple of colour kyoceras and they rock (FS-C5016DN and FS-C5030DN), but I haven't tried the b&w offerings.

Not used the FS-2000 printers myself, but have got lots of Kyocera kit at work - the previous FS-1920 is rather good, as is the FS-1800, FS-38x0 and FS-3900 series, so I can't see any reason not to go for the FS-2000.

I ditched all our Kyocera lasers in favour of HP LaserJet 4000 and 4100 series printers.

 

The Kyoceras were a PITA, with Citrix taking a regular disliking to the drivers and me constantly having to reset the default settings so that they didn't ask for letter-sized paper.

 

I may have just had bad experiences with these... although I cannot recall ever having a bad experience with a HP (touch wood).

I hate Kyocera, they are poor quality kit by far compaired to HP. You couldn't even give me a Kyocera product. They should stick to making Knives which is what they started doing originally.

We too have had a couple of bad times with kyocera but just cheap end laser printers i.e. 1010, 1020s. We have a couple of 5016n and an FS8008n A3 which have performed admirably over a good couple of years. I find you can't go past HP though for both performance and reliablity.

We use nearly all Kyocera including a 2000 and have had very few problems with them. I had bad experiences with HP. Also Kyocera though more expensive to buy are much cheaper to run

Yeah, I bought a couple - they're pretty good and more robust than the HP 2400s we have. The drivers (V4) have a macro option to pull in the contents of a text file and include them in headers / footers.
