classroom faceplate vga terminology

Does anyone know the correct terminology for the vga port on a faceplate?

I need to purchase a replacement vga port for a faceplate for a teacher and i have no idea what search for.

 

When you open the faceplate it's basically the end of a vga cable chopped off and you solder the vga cable coming from the projector onto the back of the vga port.

the bit i wasnt sure about with those is do they come just as a faceplate or do they come with all the connection parts as well?

Just the connector is called a DB-15 connector.

They vary wildly, check the description carefully.
