Popular Post ajbritton Posted February 23, 2010 Popular Post Posted February 23, 2010 Just in case there's anyone wanting to use XP mode but have found themselves with a version of 7 that does not support it or has a CPU without virtualisation support, here's what looks like a neat solution. I've not tested yet but it looks sound. Create an XP Mode for Windows 7 Home Versions & Vista - the How-To Geek 5
Gatt Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Nice one!! will try and give that a bash later on today!!
powdarrmonkey Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Note: if you don't have Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise you need a separate XP license to do this. If you do have an eligible version, you still need a separate license to do it this way; the only way you are automatically licensed is through the Microsoft way.
