Hi

 

Ofsted tomorrow LMAO.....

 

I have been asked to put a powerpoint presentation o some PC's as a screensaver..

 

I saved the ppt as as jpg's and used the windows screensaver and logged out....

 

But the sceeensaver seems to only work when someone is logged in... what the bosses wan is when the PCboots up the screensaver/jpg's/flash is working.. without nyone logging on

 

any ideas

if you are using the Slide show screensaver in XP you can put all your pics in a folder and then setup the screensaver when logged in... then use PowerToys for XP to copy the screensaver to the default that way it gets run when no one is logged in. we did this on all our XP Machines..

if your feeling posh you could probably make a MSI to copy all the files down to the PC and make the reg changes required! that’s on my todo list...

replace the login.scr screensaver with the ssmypcs.scr

This is the reg key you need to set on the workstations to set the pre logon screensaver
