Right I thought i'd create a new thread this issue seems to of been introduced in v11.5.2.602 and later versions.

When attempting to deploy Shockwave v11.5.2.602 an incorrect repair of the MSI is triggered on first use of the software for each user.

It only seems to happen for 'users' though if I log on as an admin to troubleshoot the issue I don't see the issue.

A few posts blame a virus but i've tested this on several PC's including a new build and scanned them all with upto date AV. This happens on XP and a Server 2003 Citrix box.

Has anyone deployed this version of Shockwave and solved the issue?

Thanks.

Currently having this issue - appeared in .606, but wasn't there in .602. Will poke around with Orca. I'm betting money on legacy components missing from the installer.

Did you have any luck?

Thanks.

-ish. Research shows it deploys perfectly happily and works fine in two computer rooms and is broken in a third (main) one.

There's still something broken, but I've been working on other stuff just recently.
