Acer Aspire 1810tz bios update

Go easy on me im ill....

 

 

I have myself a bit of a catch 22, I have to update the bios to fix the huge drive corruption problem but acer only supply a windows updater app. I cant get into windows because the drive is badly corrupted.

 

I dont want to attempt a reinstall only to find the drive corrupt and not able to update the bios.

 

I cant find any info on Acers crap FAQ and support asked me to ring back because they had computer issues.... ironic!

 

So, how can I flash this bleeding laptop via usb??

Wow, someone is looking over me today!

After countless win7 recovery console attempts I decided that one more try before a reinstall was worth it and lo and behold it worked!

 

Currently flashing away like a man with a dirty mac
