We have been using Clickview for several months without any problems. Science dept has just bought Birchfield VLE Content Manager Science software. The computers have Windows Media Player 10 installed. Birchfield works well with WM10.

Problem we've now discovered is that if a user watches a film on Clickview then Windows Media Player defaults to an earlier version (V 6.4.09.1130) and Birchfield videos won't play until WM10 is reinstalled.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

Is ClickView using it's own integrated player that's out of date? I wasn't aware that you could have two versions of WMP installed this is why I ask. Your computers have the latest version but is ClickView using an older version?

It must be. Took me a whole morning to work out which software was causing the problem! I've had to reinstall WM10 seven times already today so I really have to find a solution!!

Roll on the weekend.....48 hours no computers, no kids, no teachers.....bliss!
