has any one used these people before?

 

We are currently getting a few quotes for a switch install from differnet people and I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with them switchshop before.

I have bought quite a bit of 3Com managed wireless kit from them, plus a few switches, but these were all for installation by us so all I can comment on is their sales & delivery service which was first class. I would not hesitate to use them again as an equipment supplier.

They send us free chocolate sometimes...

 

Like broc, we've only bought kit from them, not had installs, but they seem a reliable supplier and give helpful advice.

We used them last summer for a large order of HP switches, they were the cheapest by far and I did not have any problem with the service.

I would recommend them. In some cases we've paid a few pounds more to buy from them rather than use big companies like Misco, the sales and support are always available and friendly. I gave up trying to speak to my Misco account manager two years ago.

Thanks for your responses everyone. Not had chance before now. We have to try and get all our orders out by the 12th of Feb

 

We have gone with Switchshop.

 

We will be getting two cabs installed, one HP switch and two fibre runs. This is due to be done over half term.

 

All the Service I have received so far has been excellent. They outsource their fibre installs to Lynx Data cabling and their engineer who came to give quotes was excellent

 

I will let you know how I get on.
