It seems to be gathering quite a bit of momentum. The use of ELGG with Moodle seems to be a good starting point. I'm interested to here if anyone has set up this sort of social learning with ELGG or even sharepoint (letting staff and students blogg etc)

lew_bob Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Sounds interesting, and I wonder how VLE's potentially already fill this. I get the impression FROG is a little like this already? the social FB kinda approach to a VLE??
witch Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 All the VLEs that I know of can be used in a variety of ways - blogs,wikis, groups, lessons, homework - you name it! Check out Moodle - we use it here - it's free and fairly user friendly
