However, you can then take the system out of the car, plug it into your PlayStation 3 and, provided you have a copy of Gran Turismo, race your real self on a virtual version of the same track.

 

I'd rather see one that displays a ghost car actually on the sat nav for your recorded route so you can try and beat your time getting into work

Great idea, it could display your PB. I see the estimated arrival time on my satnav as a challenge

id be more interested in using that to try diffeent routes and see which was fastest by ovelaying them

What about a SatNav for "empty nesters" that says, at random intervals, "Are we there yet?"

phew its not just me that tries to prove the satnav wrong with its time of arival!
