Thought that A+ cert was good for life? Think again

 

While they are breaching the terms of the contract, anyone relying on an A,N or S+ to get a job after 3yrs has bigger problems. Apart from if you want a job with the DoD - they still use the certs as a baseline (i.e you can be CISSP, but you still need an S+ to get a job).

Money making ploy? Ensuring the masses have to constantly re-certify?

 

Why don't they just go down the Microsoft route, and when something new is added or needs to be learnt has add a different qualification as a top-up?

 

Something like. A++ N++
