Evening All!

We're looking to implement terminal services 2008 R2, which we're currently testing, 1 problem ive got at the moment, is that the user gets a web based login page, which you type in there network username and password, easy..login no problem,

when a user clicks on an application they then get another authentication box, but the user has to put in DOMAINNAME\username, is there anyway to get rid of this? i just know our users wont rememeber to put this in!

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Are you going through an ISA box? I think if you were the DOMAIN\ wouldn't be needed. Not sure if there is another work around for it.

No, not going through ISA, i could not get it working through ISA for some reason, if you think this would solve this problem, then ill have another go at it!

We had issues with sharepoint wanting the domain\ prior to logging in externally before we setup ISA and now its not required, so I am guessing it would fix your issue as well.

Hi

I have just had a discussion with a company called VASCO - they do single point log in solutions and two factor authentication, so it would not be a issue if your users forgot there passwords.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks

Morning All!

Sorry to bring up an old topic i started!

Im still playing around with Terminal Services on and off, and im at a point where im "nearly" happy lol

Ive got a signed SSL certificate now and all is well going to the RDWeb website, and when i select an application to launch i get the signed SSL certificate no problem....but as soon as i press connect i get an error about the SSL certificate....but this is the local terminal services certificate and i have to press Yes to connect - i know a lil problem but still annoying lol

Anybody got any ideas?
