Internal web links not working

Hi Guys

 

We are currently experiencing a problem with users trying to get on our school website and our room booking system staff can get out on the internet and go on google etc but not anything that has walkden in the address.

 

For example the two links below work fine when staff are at home but as soon as they are in school they get a page cannot be displayed error.

Resource Booking System

 

We use smoothwall for our filtering system and as far as we are aware no one has changed any settings its a complete mystery and it only started happening on monday we tried to get on our website on one machine and got the error page cannot be displayed, smoothwall said it went to a completly different website as if its being hijacked we can't even ping the address.

 

has any one had any similar problems like this before or any idea of what is happening, any help or feed back is greatly appreciated.

I experienced a similar issue. Is you internal domain called walkden.uk.com as well? If so you need to add An Alias (CNAME) to your dns server called www & pointing to walden.uk.com

 

This should do it.
