sparkeh Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Hello embc-ers embc have informed me that the recent issues with websites being unavailable during the mornings (with parents checking for closures) was due to CPU spikes during this period and has been addressed with the provision of more CPUs to cope with the load and should not happen again. Cheers.
Edu-IT Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Thanks for the update. I'm suprised they haven't updated the T2S site with any information.
rush_tech Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Thanks for the update. I'm suprised they haven't updated the T2S site with any information. was it placed on the T2S when it first happened? I've not seen any update on T2S about this issue to be honest:confused:

sparkeh Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 I did have to complain a fair bit and the LA lent some weight to get that info sent to me.

Edu-IT Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 We are now being asked for authentication when trying to access our website  No such issues here but it's SLOW!
sparkeh Posted January 12, 2010 Author Posted January 12, 2010 (edited) No such issues here but it's SLOW! Yeah slow here too, interestingly it appears to take a long time to connect to the website between page transitions, but once connected loads lightening fast. So could be a a connection problem? Edit: seems to intermittent. On the plus side, when it works, the website is much faster than before Edited January 12, 2010 by sparkeh
