BBC News - Hannah Montana 'to end in 2011'

 

Well there is a surprise (I am being sarcastic here)

 

Even the teen fans could of worked out that this would be last series after Miley Cyrus was getting even more 'adult' in here nature that Disney would not want to continue with her much longer.

 

My prediction oh new single with a very risqué video after she finishes with Disney and highly controversial performance at MTV awards to leave the Hannah Montana image behind.

To be fair to Cyrus family earned lot more money than I have and when she is not releasing predictable Disney pop then she might do well as she has a half decent voice and all those teen fans are going to be looking for something more 'adult' to follow.

Think most people were surprised Cyrus agreed to do a 4th season, but she didn't want to leave the Hannah Montana story hanging - think Billy Ray did an interview stating that.

 

It's definitely time to move on though - her performance of Party in the USA caused trouble because people thought she was "pole dancing", the Vanity Fair pictures caused an uproar, her choice of boyfriends has been questionable, she's moving into adulthood, and can't keep up the squeaky-clean image needed for Hannah Montana any more.

 

The trailer for The Last Song looks good, and some of her later music sounds OK, the Tennessee drawl is actually not to bad. Same goes for the rest of the cast, Emily Osment is releasing an album soon I think as well.
