As I understand it, wagers are not legally binding contracts, so I doubt that they will ever pay out; it isn't what they are there for!

Not that i ever bet really but i dfont think ill ever be betting with them thats for sure. May as well go to an unlicenced bookies or the bloke down the pub.

the reason they don't allow accumulators on bets like this is really very simple, for example a market like is is totally different to sport betting where individual football results don't effect each other.

If its snows in Birmingham then then theres a odds on chance of snow in coventry and nottingham etc.

Tough. They took the bet, they should pay out. Would they refund if the punter realised after the fact that it was a mugs bet? No, thought not!

They accepted the bet and they should pay out, regardless if it was a clerical error or not. He paid for his ticket, which was legally accepted, he got his receipt as proof of payment and that they accepted.

 

He should sue them and get his money, plus damages - EG Hurt feelings, mistrust of the industry because of the company from now on etc etc! He could rake it in!

My thoughts exactly, taking bets on white christmases is easy money for them, as like now, they can just not pay up!
