Hi All

 

I need help with eportal and turning off the exam results info when its added into eportal but i need to keep eportal live for registration.

 

Is it possible??

Hi Feebs,

You can edit the settings.xml file located in the webapps\ePortal\Conf folder.

 

Search for

HideResults

false

-

-

HideResultsAfterDate

05-07-2005

 

Change it to true and change the date to a day before the results will be published :)

Will this hide the results i download on wednesday??

 

also when i need to put the back (on thursday) how would i do that??

Changing the value to true makes the results hide after the date you enter in. So for Wednesday next week I would turn it to true and then use the date 05-01-2010.

 

When you want to show the results again you either move the date to a later date, or turn the value to false again.

 

The ePortal services need to be restarted for the settings to take affect. You can experiment with Assessment Results if you want to test it.

Yes, you will need to stop and start the eportal services.

 

Or if you do this the day before you download the overnight refresh of the services will mean that the changes take place automatically and therefore you wont need to re-start.
