SIMS Cover 7 - Available Staff

We have installed Cover 7 which seems to work OK apart from the following - when the free tab is ticked no staff are ever listed as free (teachers or cover supervisors).

 

When the tab is unticked - everyone shows and staff can be allocated.

 

All the Classroom Staff Details appear to be correct so I just can't understand why the Available Staff Window is unpopulated.

 

Any advice would be gratefully received.

I assume that the Staff Timetables are correct in SIMS ......

You then need to ensure that all your Classroon Staff have an appropriate Working Pattern (Linked to your Organisation). And that you have ticked 'Provides Cover'. This is set up under 'Manage Classroom Staff'.

Seems that the probem was due to more than one 'absolute rules' being ticked in Global Settings.
