gibbo_ap Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 looking a spending next year ad we had planned on moving to 2007 but with 2010 on public beta it would seem silly. does anyone kow if recent licences are compatable? what are your thoughts on office 2010 so far?
IanT Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 All i know is Office 2010 is going to have the same Activation as Vista, W7, 2008. 2 Options: MAK or KMS (of course for Volume License users)
SteveBentley Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Does Office 2010 have any groundbreaking new functionality or is it just another batch of unnecessary and unhelpful interface tweaks, as part of Microsoft's license to print money?
AIT Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 All i know is Office 2010 is going to have the same Activation as Vista, W7, 2008. 2 Options: MAK or KMS (of course for Volume License users) I am currently running Office 2010 Beta. as we are Microsoft volume license customers and TechNet members. It’s very nice. Loads much faster. Outlook looks slightly different and has a few nice features. Licensing is the same as office 2007. link to some photos of office 2010 Office 2010 - Advanced IT Services Forum
localzuk Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Office 2010 beta is a lot nicer than Office 2007, and Office 2007 is a lot nicer than Office 2003. Faster, more refined and a load of extra new features. I'm not a giant MS fan as people may know, but Office 2010 is superb. As far as I know, if you buy 2007 licenses outright, you would need to buy 2010 licenses/upgrades - unless you buy software assurance.
