BETT 2010 Exhibitors party

[Dos_Box]

Well, I'm doign the stand manning plot, which should be up sometime today, but I am still not sure what day the exhibitors party is (free beer and pizza for about 2 hours!) as the BETT awards are on the Friday this year, so it could be either Wednesday or Thursday.

Just to let you know.

Pretty sure it is Thursday as that was why the Amplified event was put on Thursday (TEDxOrenda is on Wednesday and TeachMeet BETT 2010 on Friday ... after all, the important folk will be there and the shmoozers at the awards!)

Hi Chris, the awards night is still the Wednesday (13th) as far as i know - just had a shufty at the website and it's saying the 13th.

how do you know he isn't presenting an award in his capacity as the Oracle of all knowledge?

Turned down an invite to go to TeachMeet. In fact the TeachEat afterwards already seems to be developing a special corner for a SharePint. Why have one social meet when you can have 3!

You're right! I mistread the BETT Awards 2010 site:

The BETT Awards are the prestigious annual recognition of excellence in educational ICT. Stringently judged, the Awards play a key role in identifying and rewarding innovative technological products and services that are proving to be effective in the education sector.

The 2009 winners were announced at a glittering gala dinner on January 15th.

*DOH!*

No ... there is definitely a TeachEat after TeachMeet and I've already spoken with Alex and a few others about catching up.
