This is a 3rd party rpm repository. The original focus laid upon software used in natural sciences, e.g. tools for numerical programming or such for scientific publications. Packages for RHEL5, Fedora etc.

 

If you are interested in Scientific Computing but do not have RHEL, I recommend Scientific Linux which is build from source by FERMILAB and CERN to be compatible with Redhat Enterprise Linux.
