Dos_Box Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I'm a bit stumped about this, I've had a question on my column where a user has made an image backup of their old system and wants to extract their old email files and import them into W7 (the Image was Vista with Widows Live Mail), so there shouldn't be any problems, well there shouldn't be but there is! Trying to find out any info about restoring, or importing old mail is nigh on impossible! Does anyone here have any advice on this or has any links as I'm drawing a blank, well, going around in circles a lot!

localzuk Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 My only suggestion would be to set up a Vista VM, set up Windows Mail, replace the data files in their profile, then follow the link I posted. I'm not sure there is any other way to do it.
