I don't adam and eve it.

One of my schools uses RMMaths (a networked math skills prog thats seems very good BTW) and it didn't like being transferred from my old Win98 file server to a new W2k3 server.

I rang RM for help.

I've never ever received such support before.

They let me explain the problem in english then after trying a few things - put me through to someone who really knew about the product. Having (nicely I hasten to add) telling me I shouldn't have tried it the way I had - he just tried his best to help until the lack of the install CD at our end did him in.

When we eventually found the CD and rang back they managed to sort my problem out.

I've called this company some names in the past (mainly for the atrocious mess they made of customising Win98 a few years ago) but today they shone.

regards

Simon

its, ashame they take so long to sort a problem out usually though.

customer action is non existent.I guess when a company is so big that forget that service plays the important role in customer retention.

A product is only as good as the people who can keep it working.

I have to say never have any trouble with rm support maybe something to do with knowing most of staff at rm ;)...

But no i have always had one policy with rm if they do something good they will get praised if they muck up i will say so and cause major headaches.

Over years this policy has served me well and to be honest this is what got me well known with rm not being afraid to kick up a fuss...there is rumour that rm have issued a dart board to all staff with my photo on it :)

But to fair to rm always find there support good it went through a bad patch few years ago and people remember that...

Can you kick them into action for me then please?

I've been waiting three weeks to get a response from them about an issue we have with IP Addresses. (yes, we have to use a range assigned by them).

I'm about to launch into a major barny with them if something doesn't happen soon.
