Link Software

We have 2 sites connected via a 100mb link between each over. How can I detect the "link state" Is there a piece of software I can use to detect that its UP. we are having an issue and we were told it may be the link, but we dont think so.

The guys are right. ping -t would give you the best results..

If you only need it for a while - then whats up gold do a free 30 day trial - great software and designed to do what you want (amongst other things)

Thanks. We are being told issues are because of the link so by being able to see whats happening will be great.

"The Dude" is pretty good, it can be setup to send email alerts when devices are down etc. Its also free.
