Startup problem

when i turn on my computer it always comes up with the boot options (safe mode, normal, etc...)

however i have tried all options a number of times and even after leaving it off overnight but it displays the windows startup logo (Running on XP) then the blue screen flashes up and then the computer just re starts. the blue screen flashes too fast to see whats on it.

i do not have a restore disk or O/S disk. HELP!

Not having a restore disc or OS disc is gonna be a problem.. but is this a branded pc? how old is it?

this is normally a case of new installation of either hardware or software.

Is there an option to stop it rebooting after the error on the Advanced Startup screen? That would allow you to see the BSOD and read the stop error.

try booting from an xp cd going to recovery console and doing a chkdsk /r ive had 2 pcs in 2 days needing that done

F8 to get to the menu and there is one to stop rebooting if an error occurs

I did it, i "Skanked" an XP disk and it helped restore my PC,

turns out it was because of some software that was improperly installed.
