mattx Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 After a bad day trying to fix the toilet - [ fixed it but managed to create some new leaks ] - plumber coming out later in the week now...... The missus went shopping and bought me back a Rubix Cube - now I used to be able to do these in about 2min 30 seconds - can I remember now ? Can I heck.....thank god for Google !! Now going to spend the next few months getting quicker.......

kearton Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 In the winter of '92 my flatmates and I decided we were going to learn to do the Rubik's cube. We used to pull them to bits first, and put powdered graphite inside them to lubricate them so they spun very easily (the downside was that if you didn't have them lined up enough and then tried to turn them sideways they tended to explode...) and we learnt the 6 different styles of move required to complete. My record was 1:31. But now in my old age I can't remember the last 2 moves, so can't get it quite done.
