I didn't think it was too bad and it got a bunch of people into the store. Plus the employees were being paid to prance around so everyone wins. Except maybe the people already in the store - I'd find it a tad annoying if a dance broke out in the middle of me trying to buy something.

The scary thing that worries me about this is that if it happened in an Apple store (probably around a bored genius bar or the workshops get over-excited) it would be spontaneous ... but this looks a bit too rehearsed.

 

Admittedly, the Ubuntu store outside (a nearby pub full of cynical sysadmins) would just look up their real ale, look at both shops and say that they could do it better ... if they could be bothered ... which they can't.

 

The Acorn store however, it is absolutely rockin'. You should hear him party to Slade's "Feel the Noise".
