Boddison Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I got a 4GB memory pen which has U3 software on it This makes it so that a password is needed to access its files. I use it daily but i have a problem using it at college. The network has restrictions saying i cannot "run" any software I really don't want to have to get another memory pen and i don't want to delete the software off this, Can i get round the "Run" restriction at college? Please Help. :D
ahuxham Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 You mean auto run? I.e. U3 execing when the memory stick is plugged in? Sure I can see how this is blocked, and very good reason. Are you not able to browse the memory stick and run the U3 application manually? If not, there isn't a thing you can do within the rules. Auto Run is normally blocked for a reason, and I doubt users are going to help you break the rules, just how the cookie crumbles.
