Sims - How to classify someone as support staff

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me how to classify a member of personnel as support staff? I can find how to list someone as teaching staff in their personnel record but there in no mention of support staff.

Just don't tick the "Teacher" box

You could use the contracts section of Personnel module too. Then have much more granular view of all staff.

I think you mean in the persons actual personnel record within SIMS in which case Stuart_C seems to give the right answer.

 

Do you mean how to give them particular access rights to SIMS itself though? If that is what you need then the answer is through system manager, either through a custom made permission set or by applying the relevant permissions on a 'per member of staff basis'.
