mattx Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) For some reason I am having problems locating a remote shutter release for my digital slr [ fuji s1 pro ] - can someone point me in the direction of a good on-line outlet [ apart from over priced jessops ] I could contact.... [ if there is one for it otherwise I have to start using the timer ] Thanks. Edited November 9, 2009 by mattx
tech_guy Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 You looking for a cable release? Does it have the fitting? Don't most DSLRs have wireless jobbies now?! I purchased one for my Nikon on eBay from a supplier in HK and saved £15 and that was including the postage.
mattx Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 I think this will fit it: 70cm REMOTE RELEASE CABLE for Canon Nikon Fuji Kodak(UK on eBay (end time 13-Nov-09 22:05:01 GMT) It has the old fitting - screw in on top of the shutter button[ old digital SLR ] - just sent a note to the person flogging it on e-bay......I'm sure it will though...
mattx Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 My brother made his own for the Canon 350D. Perhaps there's something similar out there for yours? Was thinking along those lines myself - I'll go through my huge box of screws and stuff and will see what I can come up with.....
