Windows in safe mode or is it?

Hi All

 

I have 5 0r 6 rm one pc which wont let me install anything. When i try and install programs i keep getting a message (could not complete installtion in safe mode) The computer boots up ok and i am not in safe mode but i can not install anything

Usually if you're in Safe Mode the graphics will appear very large with a resolution of 640 x 480, you'll receive a message at logon to say you're in Safe Mode, then once logged on 'Safe Mode' appears in all corners of the screen.

 

It is very common that applications will not install/run in Safe Mode as only the basic components of Windows are loaded.
