Google double searching

not quite a windows problem, but google has gone screwy at work.

the first search is ok.

The second search ads a 0 to the search word.

The third, and each consecutive search doubles the search

 

Life without google is hard, any one else had this?

 

It just started last thursday. theres not been any real sortware or hardware changes to any of the servers, firewall or the network in general

Do you go through a filter or proxy provided by your LEA or equivalent RBC?

I belief so Definatley proxy, but dont know if pprovided by LEA

Well they might of done something then that filters google queries. We having something similar setup here to force safesearch on. Perhaps they implemented it badly.

No one has done anything, and it all works fine now. Just one of those things

Many proxy filters examine or alter google search queries - so this is a good place to start if you see that sort of problem...

Well, this might be an obvious one, but I had trouble with Google Mail last week - it suddenly stopped showing in anything but 'basic HTML' mode (and would hang on login until I forced it into basic HTML mode).

 

I cleared my cache, and deleted all cookies, and hey presto, everything's fine again.
