Intel Graphics and misbehaving kids!

Hi,

 

Got a small problem - I've disabled the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver from the systray (using startupCPL) and I've disabled hotkeys, but I've realised that the students can still right-click on the desktop and select Graphics Options and Graphics Properties. As you can imagine, they LOVE setting the resolution so high that the monitors cave in!

 

Just wondering if anyone has a workaround for this problem (except for disabling right-click!).???

If you search on edugeek think there was another thread where someone posted a registry fix or msi that resolved the intel graphics issue that disabled the hot keys and other things afaik.

Yes I've had a look at the other threads and I've managed to disable the systray icon and the hotkeys. Still doesn't solve the problem on the desktop however...!

Cheers matey works a treat. Any suggestions on how to deploy this?

I've got to remove the settings from all student/staff PCs and laptops. We're using windows 7 OS so thinking preferences on the machine side in the Default Domain Policy and add it as a reg change.

The above worked btw. Just add a "delete" setting into the machine side preferences of the default GPO.
