HP CP3505n Laser printer settings being lost

We have a bunch of these printers around school and 1 of them is causing annoyance.

 

Every so often, the clients which use it (which happen to be our SEN dept) randomly forget the settings as set by me on the server for default use. Instead, they reset to 'factory' default which for some dumb reason reckons that the paper tray should have Pre-punched A4 paper in it.

 

Any ideas what could be causing this?

 

Also, on a similar note - some of those clients lose the printer entirely - ie. it is just deleted from their printers and faxes folder.
