HT wants a number of Nintendo's with the brain training game. Now I've never owned a Nintendo let alone used one so have no idea what Nintendo I should be looking at

Amazon have two types listed, Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite. Which one is best

DS Lite is the one you want, DS is the first release and the DS Lite is the 2nd release.

There is also the DSi, which is the very latest incarnation - features a camera.

Yeah, I would go for the DS Lite as well. The DSi has a gimmicky double camera on it and an extra £50 on the price tag. You may even be able to pick up a 2nd had unit for a good price if you are credit crunching. I've had my DS Lite and so has the wife for well over a year and still going strong.

We have two Nintendo DS's with the brain training games in our inclusion centre - very useful for our EAL (English as an additional Language) Students.

There's also the [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-90017-Big-Brain-Academy/dp/B000OAO188/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1257460232&sr=1-1]Nintendo Wii version[/ame]. While we haven't used it for the Brain Training game, we have used it for the sports (we had several fitness sessions, thru PE). I've used it with the Brain Training game at home.

But I guess it depends on how you see the game being used.
