Zoom7000 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 We use nLite to build our PC images and we have a standard image that we deploy out across the school. Because most of the PCs are standard student desktops, I have removed the games component using nLite. So you cannot reinstall it using Add/Remove Programs. So, on to the problem. We have a friendly site supervisor who mans the reception pretty late on some days for late evening let ins. He would like to be able to keep from total boredom by being able to have the odd game of Spider Solitare, Minesweeper etc. Is there anyway I can reinstall the games components without having to totally rebuild the PC?
p858snake Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 just copy the exe's from a system that has them.
IrritableTech Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) Go to Control Panel -> Add & Remove Programs -> Windows Components -> Accesories and Utilities -> Details -> Tick Games. edit: You'll probably need an XP disc with the games. FreelanceX Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Yeah as said above, just use an original XP disc with the games on or just copy the games from another PC with them on. Should take about 5 mins
