laserblazer Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 There was an incident a few years ago where a guy was getting out of a helicopter and his little girl ran to greet him and he caught her and lifted her up, as dads do. The rotor blade brushed the top of her head but she was unharmed. Imagine how he must have felt!

L_Smith Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 It really hits home that half a seconds worth of stupidness can cause that much destruction.
laserblazer Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Years ago we were having a picnic and my nieces had these huge darts. Like a fool, I chucked one high into the air and then realised it was coming straight down towards my 6 month old daughter. I instinctively covered her and it hit me on the shoulderblade and it hurt like hell. What was far worse was the looks I got from the rest of the group.

russdev Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I do remember the guy carrying the TV at Christmas which is while I still make sure that J is not at the bottom of the stairs when I carry stuff down. Also they say that this baby was saved because it was strapped into the stroller. Russ
