Hi there,

 

Apparently our year 6s will be asked to carry out a confidential survey at school, using the website Tellus4 Home

 

They're using the interesting technique of rumour and misinformation to get ICT technicians up to speed on minimum specification for their website. My reacher told me that minimum spec included IE8, but according to the person I spoke to a tellus4 this is from "an old document". They have solved this problem by having no documents.

 

An email I got says

The Tellus Survey is best accessed through Internet Explorer version 7. You will find extra technical guidance on the Tellus Portal Tellus4 Home

 

 

 

Click on School Information along the top green bar and you will see several downloadable documents:-

 

 

 

· IT instructions Activating java script

 

· IT instructions Activating SSL

 

· IT instructions Increasing text size

 

· SEND technical guidance notes

 

 

Just a "heads up" and does anyone have definitive info on this?

We did this OFSTED tellus4 survey last year and it ran fine on IE7.
