Kitkatninja Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Just to let you guys know that I have submitted a "Change Request" with Capita (as requested by Capita) to make Sims Learning Gateway compatible with Windows 2008 R2. Successfully Logged Change Request Your change request will now be available for other users to vote on. Product Management will monitor this and present the top change requests at the annual Software Consultation Group for this module. So even though Microsoft has released R2 out via Software Assurance over a month ago, I have to wait and see if Capita decides if it's worth it by a voting system So please get voting -Ken
matt40k Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Capita don't support Windows 2008 R2 for SIMS yet! Give them a chance lol, normally 6 months from full release.
Kitkatninja Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 The provisioning worked before the SIMS Learning Gateway 2 August 2009 Release from Capita though. -Ken
matt40k Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Still doesn't change the fact Windows 2008 R2 isn't supported, yet.
Oops_my_bad Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Are you saying ADP breaks if you upgrade your domain to 2008 R2 functional level?
Kitkatninja Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 Are you saying ADP breaks if you upgrade your domain to 2008 R2 functional level? No, it stopped working after we applied the SIMS Learning Gateway 2 August 2009 Release. We were running it fine before the mentioned patches from Sims on our 2k8 R2 domain. -Ken
