GavRob Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Got my flash items to appear behind my menus thanxs all. my next questions is ..... As you can see in the attached picture you need to click the flash item before the links become active, i.e. click a link twice, is there a way around this? Thank you Gavin
TechMonkey Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 It's the result of the lawsuit by Eolas and MS over a patent about plugins in web browsers running automatically. AS far as I can tell they seem to run anyway it is just annoying when you try and interact with it.
GavRob Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 You can't see from the picture very well but it says in the yellow text box that appears "click to use and activate this control" i want tit to always be active, please visit my site to see what i mean http://www.hilbre.wirral.sch.uk
TechMonkey Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Don't think you can though as it is to do with the browser not the web site coding so beyond your control.
Geoff Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 There's a javascript trick you can use. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/activecontent/articles/devletter.html If the user has disabled javascript, I'm afraid your out of luck.
