Hi all

I'm after some good guides and pointers for the best way to create e-learning tests that will work in a sharepoint enviroment.

Links, guides etc. We have class server but i have no idea how it works yet lol is this the best tool? is there something better we can use?

Thanks

If you have class server you can use that to crete tests then use them in SLK on Sharepoint 2007.

SlK runs all class server content. So anything created by class server teacher client will run, or should.

Class server teacher client can be decoupled from class server so it is a stand alone resource creator. Its not scorm 2004 but is good for multiple choice tests that auto mark.

You could also look at Thesis. There are a lot of QTI products about.

thanks for the reply :) what does QTI stand for neworder?

I thought class server was scorm but i guess not :) the class server part seems quite complicated so i'll have a look at the client standalone and see if that is easier (i understand nothing about class server hehe)

Questions tests interoperability. This tends to be more prevelant in the professional course delievery market through learning management systems. I guess both class server and SLK are LMS's.

Look at IMS GLC: IMS Question & Test Interoperability Specification

Class server is scorm but its 1.2 and slk is 2004. If you PM me I can send you a decoupled version of class server teacher client and i may have some old class server notes.

Class server still has over 6 million users in China!

@jason2234

i think you are looking for Authoring tool that creates SCORM content, there is a lot of tools in the market newer than class server can help in that.

I'm trying to find one still :) this is what this tread is really about. I'm after a good easy to use tool that even a teacher can understand and use to make some nice easy tests.

Any useful links?

even better if a school want to share some sharepoint resources i'll except anything :)
