Outdoor Wireless / Ethernet over Power

Evening All.

 

Can anyone suggest a descent but not too expensive outdoor wireless bridge, would like to connect 2 buildings together but can't run cables outdoors.

 

Also in the building i'd like to install the network in we can't put alot of trunking and the walls are very thick, was thinking about ethernet over power... is there descent ones out there? had a random idea of doing it over power then adding access points so the building becomes wireless....

What wireless system do you currently have in place at the moment? if you have the budget and your currenty wireless system is on its way out you could look at purchasing a new wireless system called Ruckus Wireless.

 

It uses mesh technology where you can allow 2 AP's join together without any wires but still give you the best wireless strength.

 

There are 3 companys on here of whom distrobute Ruckus it might be worth giving them a call and they will be able to explain more.

Failing the above if you cannot upgrade your currenty wireless system, maybe you could purchase N Standard AP's and make sure the machines have N Standard Wireless Cards to help with regards to strength.
