For anyone that is interested in the Palo Alto solution then please give me a shout, we are more than happy to get you a live demo or meeting if needed. Also if it helps I have Palo Alto in my office all day today until around 4pm and can run a web x demo today if needed, if you are interested then please email me [email protected] and we can arrange this. Anyone is welcome. Cheers Mark -
P2P with Ruckus is a very simple and cost effective way of linking your 2 sites together and is as simple and point and aim, this is based on your distance, however if there is not clear line of site then you may need to look at a different option of NLOS products, these then normaly will come in a licensed band and require an ofcomm license which is purchased yearly. In short Ruckus will deliver connectivity on the 5GHz spectrum and for a minimal investment and no on going license is required, if you are interested in the pricing please PM me or email [email protected], this is also free to trial if required. Kind Regards Mark

Thanks for the intro John, have to say we no longer sell Bluesocket due to the issues we found over support with them only working in the US hours when ever help was needed, also very slow RMA process if a unit was to become faulty which did not asisst the UK at all, we also found the growing costs of the equipment not competative for the Education market and based on that have now converted our existing customers over to Ruckus which has not only saved them money but reduced ap's in most cases. I support that Bluesocket has some great features and is more than just a wifi system and the VM options is also a cleaver move and something I think we will see more doing, but only works in some clients sites and still needs to price sensitive in todays market place., however features are only good if needed and most people are after Wifi that is why they ask which wifi solution and not one that is also a firewall etc. I also know that Rick would move to Ruckus if I made it FREE (afraid he has a long wait I am sorry to say....sorry Rick you need to find some pennys.) I am more than happy to offer a competative trial of the Ruckus equipment to you Liam, we can compliment the conversation by going through comparisons of the Ruckus / Bluesocket kit and aid in your decision and trial if that would be helpful. Just drop me an email [email protected] or call 01473 281211 and I will help all you need when you are ready. Kind Regards Mark

I can confirm that this is a feature request that has been passed to Ruckus to cap the number of devices and is in disucussions but with no definative answer as of yet.

You are very welcome it was great to work with you guys at last, I am sure those 8 - 9 months felt more like 3 years :-) We look forward to do more with you in the future especially if Shaft can be involved.......you wait till you meet Mrs Shaft !!!! -
Thanks for the intro, we very much re-sell Ruckus, this is the only Wireless solution we specialise in as we feel that provides the client with the confidence knowing that we are focusing on supporing one solution only, if we lose out to competiton then that is just part of the sales game and down to the clients choice. If Ruckus is of interest then please give me a call or PM and I will be happy to help you I think you will be surprised especially with the competative offers runnings at the moment. Hope to hear from you Kind Regards Mark Power Enterprise Security Solutions | Network Security Consultants 01473 281211 07525 785 278

I apprecite this is a requirment for feedback into pottentialy swapping a solution for another which I cant comment on, however I would be more than happy to discuss how Ruckus will fit into your organisation if you did go down this route if you felt that would help. Also I am not sure if you know that Trapeze is now owned by Juniper Networks? Just give me a call if it would help, we have 300 education sites all using Ruckus so have plenty of experience to guide you about the technology.
