HTCIT Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Hello, I have just put xp to machine as I didn't like "Vista"! The os is working fine but I it is not getting any updates and I have tried to go on the ms updater and it doesn't work! I was just wondering if there is a way to get round it?? Any answers please!

Michael Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Have you made sure all drivers are installed? Vista has a much larger driver database than XP, so chances are some devices will need drivers installing. Typical examples are graphics, sound and network drivers. Have a look at Device Manager. If you could let us know what the error code is/was that'd be useful too
