DSapseid Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Im after a hexagonal screw that is female on both ends, so i can join to video leads together. I cant explain better so picture is attached, i want it be female at both ends. I am sure i have seen them before but cant for the life of me remember where!!! Cheers Dan
Jamo Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Woudln't it be easier to use a VGA extension as they normally come with the correct screw ends anyway
marekbrad Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Best I can Find is these Search Results | CPC
TronXP Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 One of these maybe? --|AD-666|PORT SAVER, 15-WAY HI-D | CPC http://cpc.farnell.com/productimages/farnell/standard/42380434.jpg
Andrew_C Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I've always known them as Bail (bale?) posts, but it seems that I might be the only one. As far as I know, they are not a metric thread.
michaelf Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Is this what you're looking for? Rapid Electronics - Brass hexagonal threaded spacers If you're joining VGA leads I believe you'd need the m3 size and probably the 6mm length (but don't quote me on that!) 2
AngryTechnician Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Good old Rapid, can't beat them for hard-to-find stuff like this.
DSapseid Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 @michaelf - thats the ticket!! Your a hero
