simsload.exe gone after update!

Just performed the August update which seemed to go ok but for one machine.

 

After the station updated itself it complained that it couldn't find simsload.exe, I checked and has disappeared after the update.

 

Any ideas what causes this?

 

Not able to do anything with the machine at the moment but I guess that a reinstall should fix it - or perhaps taking the file from another machine?

This is ussually caused by the upgrade failing. It deletes files such a simsload.exe and then fails.

 

Simply fix would be to run simsapplicationsetup.exe from the central setups folder on the machine in question. This will copy all the correct files back into place
