I currently have a problem where one new user does not appear in the global address list. i have created other accounts since which have appeared in the global address list, and cannot find anything related on the internet, where one random user cannot be seen. it is not set to be hidden from the address list or anything like that as i have already checked. the users's mailbox was moved between two exchange servers as was created on the admin exchange server rather than curriculum.

any ideas?

Thanks

Assuming its exchange 2007 - log into the management console and find the section with Offline Address Book. Right click and tell it to rebuild.

In Exchange 2003

Open 'Exchange System Manager'

Expand Recipients then Off Line Address Books

In the right pane highlight the Offline Address list, right click and the select 'Rebuild'

Once that has completed then on a client download the address book.

In outlook it is 'Send/ Receive' / 'Address Book' but untick 'Download changes since last send/receive'
