iphoto themes

Hi

 

Got some pupils creating slideshows using iphoto 09 with the scrapbook theme. Problem is iphoto is cropping the pictures quite drastically in the wrong places so they have missing heads etc.

 

Any ideas how to either turn off cropping of pictures or cusomising the working area?

 

Any help would be great as I'm an apple novice.
