Gatt Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Yikes! - I have an Inspiron 6000 - and my Battery ID is F5133 - just one digit out from being returned (F5312!!
Geoff Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 We have D510's and D505's as part of our LEA's LfT program. I've already checked them all once. I guess I'll be doing it again.
Norphy Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 We've found five with the affected codes so far. However only one of them actually needs replacing. However there are another 50 laptops out there with possible dodgy batteries so I'm expecting another few at least.
Geoff Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Yeah, that's the thing though. I can't realistically do anything about this until september. Hopefully no teachers will be blown up in the meantime.
Ric_ Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Hopefully no teachers will be blown up in the meantime. If you say so Geoff
