Dell have today upped the recall program to 4.1 million batteries, new batches have been added.

Yikes! - I have an Inspiron 6000 - and my Battery ID is F5133 - just one digit out from being returned (F5312!!

We have D510's and D505's as part of our LEA's LfT program. I've already checked them all once. I guess I'll be doing it again.

We've found five with the affected codes so far. However only one of them actually needs replacing.

 

However there are another 50 laptops out there with possible dodgy batteries so I'm expecting another few at least.
