We appear to be having major issues via libproxy... started yesterday... "proxy is refusing connections" basically. Secondaryproxy works fine but libproxy is hopeless at the minute.

The public internet access, wak-pub, hull-pub etc should be totally unfiltered.

We don't have credentials / any further details to allow us to use these... how do I go about getting access??

Hi Marci,

We were only told of the issue around one o'clock Thursday afternoon and we resolved by around half past three.

The problem appears to have been caused by a number of processes which had stopped working on one of our library proxies. This gave us inconsistent results while testing as it was initially working fine for us as we have several proxy servers.

This problem has been resolved now, and we are not seeing the same issue this morning, so it should be working okay now?

The access for wak-pub can be obtained through your Local Authority. If it is Wakefield, like I am guessing it is, then the EdIT centre is the best place to contact for this information.

Maybe I should read other topics first! :)

Im suprised we have not been told this information, but maybe we have to ask about it. Not knowing it exists does make that difficult though
